The rooms are in need of a serious upgrade and were closed for many days, also in a poor state of repair and very cold despite efforts to adjust the air con. The dining experience was found to be lacking with limited Western options, while the facilities overall were nothing special.

Upon returning from my game at around 3 pm, I was surprised by the lack of room turnover. The service was nice and helpful, catering to my needs with humility, kindness, and politeness, but there seemed to be a lack of a contingency plan and information about it. The location was great for relaxation after exploring Macau, just a 5-minute taxi ride to Galaxy casino, offering a nice pool area. The dining options were good but not mind-blowing, although the variety was satisfying. The facilities were decent overall.

The hotel offers spacious rooms with a very nice view of the river/harbour, although they were a bit old and dusty. The beds were comfortable, not rock hard like in some other hotels. The service was friendly and helpful, especially Alan Zhang who spoke very good English. The location is quite away from the city center where most of the casinos are situated, but it's right beside the new casino strip in Cotai, next to many restaurants, and about halfway between the big casinos on Cotai and in the main part of the city. The facilities offered deck chairs, a nice pool, and sitting areas.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very cold despite my efforts to adjust the air conditioning, but they offered a pleasant view of the harbour. The great swimming pool surrounded by lovely large trees was a highlight, and the room's spacious design with French style was charming.
